2022 A/W

Next month marks CUXTON HOUSE's 1st anniversary, and time is flying by at an incredible speed, especially after turning 40. If I continue to live idly like this, I'll be 60 in no time. We live in a world full of uncertainties, but from what I see, most people overseas are already living without masks, and I envy them. Sticking to the rules? Japanese people are meticulous about masks, vaccinations, and sanitizing, and yet we've jumped to the top of the world in infection numbers. It's time we start thinking for ourselves a little more.

Now, autumn and winter items have already started to appear. I believe I've put a lot of effort into this season's creations. From graphics to full planning, design, and production management, I do have support, but there's still so much to do by myself, and my head is always spinning. I always burn out after the exhibitions. The preparations for next spring/summer's exhibition are already in full swing, so this season's items feel like a distant past, almost as if they belong to someone else. However, this season's collection is also full of uncompromising, confident pieces, so please do take a look. Some of the woven fabrics were even chosen thread by thread and woven originally at the mill. I'm truly grateful every season to everyone for allowing me the joy of creating so many different things. I hope you'll enjoy this season's collection as well. Thank you.
